ABOUT THE WORK
Promise was created from a photograph I took of my wife while she was pregnant with our daughter, Eva.
The expression felt deeply reflective—focused, calm, and determined. Looking at the image, I imagined someone making promises to themselves about the future and the responsibilities that come with becoming a parent.
The piece is ultimately about commitment, hope, and the quiet strength found in preparing for what comes next.
